A unique flamenco dancer born in Jerez de la Frontera with a solid background in classical and Spanish dance, she found in flamenco the perfect vehicle to explore her artistic interests. Her versatility allows her to adapt to diverse contexts and face challenges that open doors for her to continue growing as an artist.

He began his career as a member of important flamenco companies such as those of Antonio “El Pipa”, Andrés Marín, Javier Barón or the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, which was then directed by Cristina Hoyos. In 2008, he presented his first show Leoleolé which was followed by others of different formats, eLe eLe (2011), mosaics (2012), The inhabited woman (2012), The Word in your mouth (2014), bitter orange (2013), Fragile (2015), JRT painter and flamenco (2016), Night (2018), In workshops (2019), LOXA (2020) productions that are compatible with very varied projects or initiatives, whether for theater, educational pieces, video dances or composed with diverse musical frameworks, from baroque, jazz, electronic music and, above all, contemporary music.

JRT, was a fundamental piece in Leonor's career. There, under the artistic direction of the multifaceted Pedro G. Romero, she began the path with Alfredo Lagos and Antonio Moreno and met Mónica Valenciano and María Muñoz, founder of Mal Pelo and with whom she would begin two fruitful years working together in artistic residencies: Linz (Austria), at the Centre de Creació L'Animal a l'Esquena in Celrá (Girona), in Toulouse (France), in Dusseldorf (Germany)... a wealth of experiences that led them to Night, which beyond a spectacle is also a work of scenic research.

The next derivative of that creative process is in workshops (initially called Singing is prohibited), a project released in early 2019, a duo with Antonio Moreno, percussionist and performer.

And the most recent, and most ambitious on a scenographic and musical level, is LOXA, prints and dances based on the radio experiments of Juan de Loxa, presented at the XXI Seville Flamenco Biennial 2020.

His career as a soloist is supported by various awards such as the Outstanding Dancer of the Choreographic Competition of Spanish Dance and Flamenco of Madrid 2008, and the award for Best New Artist of the 2011 Jerez Festival, or, specifically, for Nocturno, the Special mention from the Jury of the 2019 Southern Theatre Festival, the Best Dance Show Award in the 2019 Sevilla Stage Awards or the Nominations for the Best Female Dance Performer and to Best Dance Performance of the XXIII Max Awards for the Performing Arts 2020. Jerez Dance Cup 2025 of the Flamencology Chair of Jerez.

He has exhibited his pieces at many of the main European and American flamenco shows, such as the Seville and Holland Biennials and the festivals of Jerez, Dusseldorf, Esch-Luxembourg, Nîmes, Mont de Marsan, Toulouse, London and New York.

He complements his artistic career with university studies on Performing arts practice and visual culture, within the Master offered by the UCM together with the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid in the 2015/16 academic year. Her work as a researcher (presented at the danced lectures: Now I Dance (2016), the language of lines (2019) and entertainment (2021) directs her towards a new stage format and another understanding of creation in flamenco. His new research will be released in 2025 under the name of voice, a body where she collects and creates stories from retired flamenco dancers. The stage piece will be accompanied by published texts from the project, as well as a complementary exhibition of textile art.

From the beginning, she has combined her artistic career with teaching, and is continually in demand as a teacher in international flamenco schools and festivals around the world.
