To think about art is to believe in the thread that unites us all.
To think about the guitar is to hear the unspoken impulse.
To think about Paco de Lucía is to talk about flamenco.
The verb in your mouth, tribute to the master, to the words he spoke and those he passed on to us. With our piece we pay tribute to his words, those that, like his notes, none of us forget. The great creator, the most capable, the most lived and admired.
What would it be like to make music with his words? What would it be like to illustrate in body what he said? What would it be like to dance the thousands of tunings that he would make throughout his career? What would it be like to imagine being one of his strings?
We all go to its source and want to drink from its water. The Word in your mouth, dance to continue remembering, to live it more and better, to recover its pulse and its sound. The sound of its word, of its hands.
